Your wedding day takes months or sometimes even years of planning but the day itself goes so fast that most of it becomes a blur!
How important is a professionally-produced wedding video? Suppose a friend told you they had in one hand a book of professional photos of the day your grandparents were married, and in their other hand a professionally-produced video of that same day, in full colour, with stereo sound, but that you could only choose one to view and keep as a family heirloom. Which would you choose? Today, thanks to new developments in digital technology and the advanced skills of professional videographers, your choices in professional wedding videography are unlimited!
Only video (and now DVD) will allow everyone to relive your wedding day as it actually happened to see you walk down the aisle, to hear your voices as you exchange vows and rings, to hear and see the toasts, the music, your first dance at the reception and the chance to preserve the complete story of your wedding. This wasn't possible in the past.
There will be photographs, guest arrivals, the vows, signing the register, reception, speeches, cutting the cake, the evening party – things you will keep memories of in your mind - but there are other things that you as the bride won’t see – the arrival of the groom, the bridesmaids and of course – you, the bride! People laughing, chatting and even shedding tears.
A Videographer can capture all the above and more. ‘A day to remember’. With time memories can fade, moments can be forgotten and family and friends can come and go. A DVD can capture all your treasured memories for years to come.
We can add to your wedding DVD as life moves on. We could include your honeymoon, first baby, birthdays, anniversaries etc. We could even begin your wedding DVD with a collage of still photos which portray your ‘love story’ and end it with a compilation of amusing ‘out-takes’ from your wedding day. You could even film your ‘Love Story’ on location at your favourite places telling everyone how you met and how your love has grown, and play this DVD at your actual wedding reception for all your guests to see – romantic!
We would like to attend your wedding rehearsal which allows us to ensure there are no unforeseen problems on the day and also to meet your main guests/family members who are going to be involved in the ceremony. We feel it is important for the videographers to be in smart attire so they blend in with the guests and are as unobtrusive as possible.
We aim to build a relationship with your photographer so we can work in harmony and not step on each others toes.
Videoing a Wedding day is usually about a 10 hour job and the video editing takes between 20 and 40 hours. No aspect is rushed, with our time and dedication given to your memories of a once in a lifetime day. Not for everyone, but it is possible to make your wedding video different by incorporating a theme. ‘Reservoir Dogs seems to be a favourite with the groom, best man and ushers’.
With professional capture and editing facilities in house we can edit and add special effects. The finished DVD includes all parts of your day with animated chapters to enable you to quickly view your favourite segments. It is your day and we will accommodate all your wishes wherever possible. We offer a very professional approach to ensuring that your special day is captured to your specific requirements. As part of the service we will visit you at your home to discuss the details with you and decide on the type of finished product that you will watch time and time again.
All final films are presented in a leather DVD or VHS presentation box with a laser printed wedding image disc. Additional copies can be ordered at a minimal extra charge. We offer experience, professionalism and dedication. We use a Sony PD170 Broadcast Standard camera. We also use a separate Sony camera for various angle shots. We use radio and directional microphones to ensure the sound quality is kept to the highest standard throughout the day.
